Division I: Folsom High Wins the Sprint
In what proved to be the most competitive team race of the weekend, Folsom High displayed incredible depth to edge out a legendary field. Folsom finished with 304 points, barely fending off a relentless Del Oro High squad that tallied 292.
The key to Folsom’s victory was their consistency across the board; the entire team qualified for the Masters Meet, a testament to the program’s conditioning and technical prowess.

Division III saw some of the highest-scoring wrestling in section history. The Oakdale High Mustangs were nothing short of a juggernaut, shattering expectations with a massive 439 points.
In an absurd display of dominance, 13 out of their 14 wrestlers finished in the top 3 of their weight classes. They aren’t just going to Masters; they are going as the heavy favorites to take the whole thing.
However, the Vacaville High Bulldogs were equally impressive, scoring 358.5 points—a total that would have won almost any other division. Vacaville matched the “perfect roster” feat by qualifying all 14 wrestlers for the Masters.
