Fargo, North Dakota – The Golden State is making a massive statement on the national wrestling stage. As the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals head into their final day, California has officially locked in 10 All-American honors in the Junior Girls division.

With the semifinals and finals slated for tomorrow, the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion, featuring an all-California showdown and a fierce hunt for the podium.

The Championship Hunt

Tomorrow’s championship rounds will feature three standout California wrestlers who have battered their way through the championship bracket.

The undisputed highlight of the day will be at 120 pounds, where California is guaranteed a spot under the spotlight. Aubree Gutierrez and Marlee Solomon are set to square off in a highly anticipated head-to-head matchup. The two phenomenal wrestlers will collide with a chance to advance to the finals and bring home an individual national title.

Joining them in the championship hunt is Me’Kala James at 125 pounds, who is looking to punch her ticket to the finals and claim a national championship of her own.

While three wrestlers chase the ultimate prize, seven other California athletes have shown immense grit in the consolation brackets. Having already secured their highly coveted All-American status, these women are still alive in the tournament and have the opportunity to battle all the way back to place third in their respective weight classes.
