Key Storylines to Watch

The 57 KG Clash: The bout between Henry Asilikyan and Sammuel Sanchez is the talk of California wrestling fans. After what many call an all-time classic semifinal-level performance at the CIF state tournament, their quarterfinal meeting carries massive momentum.

61 KG Prospects: Recent CIF third-place finisher Arno Vardanyan faces a steep test against Ronnie Ramirez. Ramirez, a former two-time California state champ now wrestling for Oklahoma State, represents the high-level collegiate experience Vardanyan is looking to disrupt.

The Cortez Brothers: Both Isaiah and Elijah Cortez remain in the hunt for titles at 57 KG and 61 KG respectively, keeping the “SCRT” banner flying high in the championship brackets.
